RPPN Córrego Frio

This Natural Heritage Private Reserve (RPPN) was recognized in definitive by an act of INEA published in the Official Gazette of Rio de Janeiro April 6, 2009, as a fully protected conservation unit, integrating the National System of Conservation Units (SNUC). With an area of 21.69 hectares, this RPPN features remaining fragments of the Atlantic forest biome, including a well-preserved stretch on both banks of the Córrego Frio.
