RPPN Bello e Kerida

This Natural Heritage Private Reserve (RPPN) was recognized in definitive by an act of INEA, published in the Official Gazette of Rio de Janeiro in April 6, 2009, as a fully protected conservation unit, integrating the National System of Conservation Units (SNUC). With an area of 13.70 hectares, being almost in its entirety situated at an altitude above 1000m, this RPPN features remaining fragments of the Atlantic forest biome and a water spring active at an altitude above 1050m.
